The University of Michigan is pleased to be hosting the 11th annual Midcontinental Workshop on Phonology.
This workshop is intended to be an informal gathering of researchers working in all areas of phonetics and phonology. This year we are planning to host a special session on ''the phonetics and phonology of tone.'' Students and faculty are both welcome to present; the forum is especially suitable for graduate students presenting work in progress.
